Retail Teamwork Features
Real-time information
Retail Teamwork's real-time management streams data continuously among all locations – no support-intensive polling required. The
information in real-time present on-hand quantities that is current for every location, preventing stock-outs and lost sales. You get
instant validation of physical inventory results.
Real-time management of transfers will reduce shrinkage risk and increase accuracy and control. And, centralized management of security
and settings simplify support of stores, further reducing costs.
Other advantages of real-time information are that store credit is updated throughout the enterprise, better serving the customer and
preventing fraud. Another advantage is self-managed gift card management, eliminating external services and associated fees.
Analysis and reporting
Retail Teamwork provides unlimited custom reporting capability. You’ll get a library of standard retail reports presented in Excel
format, allowing users to get the reports they want.
Point of Sale
Retail Teamwork's POS offers unlimited payment types and is user configurable. Universal Customer Credit manages store credit,
gift certificates and gift cards, and deposits on any card. Real-time streaming of credit usage prevents fraud.
You can add a customer without leaving the Receipt screen, and it’s easy to reapply credits to another transaction. You’ll also be able
to track merchandise returns.
Other advantages include having embedded free gift card functionality, with convenient gift receipt printing.
Inventory control
Retail Teamwork has superior inventory data structures, with dynamic pricing by dimension – what, who, where, when, how many, etc.
Physical Inventory (PI) supports wireless wedge scanners that is used as one unit for both POS and PI. Item history is preserved, never
deleted.
Purchasing
Retail Teamwork can set any line item to drop ship. It has 3-phase purchasing – PO, Receiving, Invoice – all aligned to the actual
business process.
Embedded accounting
Retail Teamwork's accounting functions are embedded and allow transactions to flow through to accounting as they occur. No link or manual
data entry is needed.
It gives accurate cost and quantity supporting for all costing methods, and provides an audit trail detailed to the item level. It also
supports recurring variable payments.
Inter-store transfers
Retail Teamwork has one streamed document that controls all 3 steps of transfer – Transfer-out, In-transit, Transfer-in. It captures any
discrepancies and substitutions, with discrepancies resolved in one manual step or with reset rules for "auto-resolution." A flawless
transfer audit trail is preserved.
Useability
Retail Teamwork allows users to do a full-text search throughout the application.
With store settings managed centrally and streamed to the store in real time, requiring little support, if any.
